Pick by where you roll: the All-Terrain Cruiser for hills, trails, grass, gravel and sand, Cruiser City for sidewalks, paths and store aisles. The All-Terrain Cruiser pushes on pavement, then drops its handle to pull like a wagon when the ground gets rough. Cruiser City puts the swivel wheels furthest from the handle, so it pushes like a traditional stroller, and it still drops its handle to pull when you need it. Four. The Cruiser City XL seats four kids, two on each side facing each other, each with a 3-point harness and a 55 lb weight limit per seat, enough to carry most kids well past their stroller years. A newborn can ride in an infant car seat (Infant Car Seat Adapter for 4-Seat Cruisers, sold separately) on one side while two older kids take the other two seats, and the space under the car seat still works for gear. Hauling gear or the dog instead? Cargo-only or pet capacity is 250 lbs.

Yes, from day one. Click your infant car seat into the Infant Car Seat Adapter (sold separately, sized for your Cruiser and made for your car seat brand: Chicco, Graco, UPPAbaby, Nuna, Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, Britax, Clek or Peg Perego), and your newborn rides along while the other two seats stay free for siblings. For naps on the go, the Nap System (sold separately) turns the Cruiser into a JPMA-certified bassinet, from birth until your baby pushes up on hands and knees.

Yes. Folded, with the seat backs, sides and handle down, the Cruiser City XL measures 37" L x 24" W x 14" H, and 9" tall with the wheels popped off (one touch, no tools). Four seats, and it still fits in the trunk of a MINI. At home it stands upright on its own in a closet or a garage corner.

Yes. On packed sand the Cruiser City XL pushes or pulls; on soft sand, pull: drop the handle, tow it like a wagon, and the big polyurethane tires track through far more easily than pushing. For deep, dry sand, the long haul from the parking lot to the water, add the Beach Wheel Kit (sold separately): oversized inflatable wheels that swap on with the same one-touch release, made for pull mode, with a 110 lb weight limit when they're on. Afterward, hose it down with fresh water and let it air dry.

Yes. Push the Cruiser City XL to the gate, fold it flat and gate-check it like a stroller; most airlines allow it. It fits through most TSA X-ray scanners without a special line, though you may need to pop off the rear wheels (one touch) to run it through. The Travel Bag (sold separately) protects it in the hold, and the airline hands it back at the jetway when you land. Or ship it ahead with Veer Valet and skip the airport altogether.
