    Beach Chair
    Comfy but costly

While I'm not at the beach too much, I did want a nice reclining chair for my deck to get myself outside more often (and maybe get a bit of color!), and this chair looked really nice from the product photos. It’s a breeze to set up, unfold, adjust the recline, and you’re chilling. Too early to tell how rust resistant it is, but the fabric seems durable and the materials as a whole seem to be good quality. The recline settings, including reclining flat, are perfect for reading and getting some sun. I like that it has a cupholder that can go on either side, but it doesn't work great with a big 40oz tumbler. It’s sturdy and no wobbling. I also really like the look of it. To me, the biggest downside is it's pretty pricey for what you get, feels like you’re paying for the brand more than the product itself. Still, it’s a solid chair, though cheaper ones might do the trick just as well.

    Beach Chair
Beach Bliss in a Backpack—Comfort, Convenience, and Coastal Vibes

The Veer Beach Chair is everything I want in a beach recliner: lightweight, breathable, and built to last. It reclines fully flat (yes, nap-worthy!), and the rust-resistant frame holds up beautifully against salty air and humid Florida afternoons.

The flip-up headrest adds extra comfort, and the towel rack is a thoughtful touch—no more sandy towels draped over the armrest. I especially love the backpack straps, which make it super easy to carry from car to shore without juggling gear.

    Beach Chair
Fantastic chair for extended, relaxing lounging

This chair is like sitting in your living room, but at the beach. This is a beautifully designed, solid, and super comfortable chair. The frame is very thick and I think it will last a very long time.

The frame is built differently than regular beach chairs. It’s not just a tube, but rather a very sturdy tube. My wife is over 200 lb and sat in this chair with no issues or instability. It is very easy to change the positions of the chair. It is extremely comfortable to sit and lay down flat in this chair. Some chairs bow and stretch over the season and this one has not.

I do wish it had a strap or straps to transport it like a backpack or other strap/handle because it doesn’t come with one and it would make it easier to carry. We have a beach cart so it is easier for us but if you don’t, this would be a little more challenging.

Having a comfortable chair for extended lounging on the beach is indispensable for us and we appreciate that this chair doesn’t sit all the way on the floor like some, as we can get up quickly for our 6 year old, and in general. It seems more ergonomic and has comfort built in in its design.

This chair takes up space but it is a well built and worth the cost. Cheaper chairs, shakey chairs are not relaxing and since I often get up to play with our little guy, I also don’t want to keep folding and unfolding or picking up cheaper chairs. We love this!

    Beach Chair
    Solid Backpack Chair!

Ordered this Veer folding backpack beach chair for pool days and this is indeed a solid chair. The frame is very sleek, strong, didn't feel flimsy during folding, unfolding or sitting. The armrests are a natural color real wood. The color of the chair and frame are two-tone blue and white-gray. The straps are adjustable, light gray and are attached in a fixed position to the bottom of the chair. The clips and buckle are thick plastic.

The included cupholder is detachable and can slide onto either side of the chair, it swivels around smoothly however I didn't notice a locking position for the cupholder which made fitting my 32oz Owala bottle a little hard to hold. I think it works best with shorter bottles or cans. It's made of the same material as the fabric on the chair which feels like a plastic, durable weave type.

Set up and folding were pretty easy to figure out. Everything slides and clicks into place smoothly as well. To fold back up, just lift both armrests and flatten the chair. You can use the chair in a sitting or laying position.

Because the entire chair folds down flat, it would fit compactly into the cargo (trunk) area.

I don't think I would leave this outdoors all the time just to keep it in good shape, but it seams easy to clean and wipe down.

It surprisingly felt lightweight on my back, although a little wide (the chair, not my back lol) If you adjust the straps properly it doesn't wobble too much, I could walk around with it on easily enough.

    Beach Chair
Well built, comfortable, but premium priced

It’s a well-made chair. It definitely feels sturdy. I do appreciate the extra headroom on top. My opinion comes from being a longtime Veer user, I’ve got two wagons, a stroller, and a bunch of other accessories. This brand is never cheap. It delivers quality, but it's definitely a luxury rather than an everyday kind of purchase. The chair is comfortable and reclines well. The fabric feels durable, and the color is true to the usual Veer pastel tones. It doesn't look like it’ll fade quickly, even with outdoor use.

The strapping system to keep the chair closed isn’t my favorite. I’d prefer a side latch over the tightening strap. The cup holder is a nice addition and you can place it on either arm, but it falls off pretty easily. One other thing to be aware of, when folding the chair, if you grab it from the wrong side, the wood legs will hit the ground directly. That causes scuffs and wear faster than expected. Even though it’s built for the outdoors, it needs a bit of care because this is a premium product. Overall, the build is excellent, the pricing is steep for a chair, but in line with Veer’s product range. Just not sure I’d recommend it to the average person looking for a simple beach seat.
