Two sizes to handle all your configurations. The small bungee handles one SmartBin, or ties one bin to the bin above it. The large bungee spans a two- or three-high stack in a single run.

The hook is shaped to register with the Hauler frame, drops into any of the slots along the SmartDeck, and hooks onto optional Tie Downs—so the anchor point is wherever your load actually is. Each small bungee carries one link slot and each large bungee carries two, and those slots take anything you need to hook to them, including another bungee. Chain two together and the run gets as long as the load.

Reach for one whenever the ground isn't smooth and level—sand, grass, gravel, or a route that pitches up and down. Same for two or three bins stacked, or a bin riding on a cooler. A single SmartBin on smooth, level ground holds itself, its feet seated into the SmartDeck. That's the one time it does.

Safety

Hook one end on before you stretch. A bungee that lets go under tension can hit you.
Wear eye protection when installing.
Do not stretch a bungee more than half again its relaxed length.
Keep your face and body out of the line of the cord while hooking up.
Do not use a damaged bungee. Discard it if the cord is cut, frayed or cracked, or if a hook is bent.

The small bungee is sized for one SmartBin, or for tying a bin to the one above it. The large one spans a two- or three-high stack in a single run. Four in the kit — two of each — so you have the right length before you need it.

Doesn't Hauler already come with bungees?

Hauler comes with two small Bungees, which cover a single SmartBin or strapping a load to the SmartDeck. This kit includes two more small as well as two large Bungees—the ones sized for a stacked load or bins.

When should I use a bungee?

Any time you're off smooth, level ground. Sand, grass, gravel and anything that pitches will move a load that would sit still on pavement—as will two or three SmartBins stacked, or a bin riding on top of a cooler. A single SmartBin on smooth, level ground holds itself: its feet seat into the SmartDeck and stay there. That's the one case where you can skip it.

Which bungee do I use for what?

The small Bungee is sized for a single SmartBin, or tying one bin to the bin above it. The large Bungee is the one for a stack—it spans two or three SmartBins in a single run. The kit includes two sets of each size.

Where do the hooks attach?

The Bungee hook is specially shaped to register with the Hauler frame, and it hooks into any of the slots running along the SmartDeck. It also hooks onto optional Tie Downs, which add anchor points wherever the SmartDeck slots don't line up with your load. Between the three you can anchor at whatever point suits your load rather than working around a fixed attachment.
