This Log Data may include information such as your Internet protocol (“IP”) address, Internet service provider, browser type, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. We may use a third party to analyze these analytics to understand visitor behavior and experience.
  • Meta Business Tools. We partner with Shopify, along with Meta (through Facebook and Instagram), for advertising and other business purposes. Your personal data will be shared with Shopify, Facebook and other Meta platforms using Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and advance matching (“Meta Business Tools”). Additional information regarding Meta Business Tools and the privacy policies associated therewith is located here.  Meta provides three options for sharing of data through Meta Business Tools: conservative, enhanced, and maximum. In order to get the best possible results and take advantage of Meta’s latest advertising technology, we share using the “maximum” option. Information shared with Shopify is shared consistent with its’ privacy policy, which is located here and here.  

How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

We may share your data with these third parties, which may include payment processors, fraud prevention and detection service providers, analytics providers, third party advertising and advanced matching services, including Meta Business Tools, and hosting providers. We endeavor to keep such sharing to a minimum and typically have contracts with these third-party providers requiring them to maintain the security and confidentiality of any data we provide.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. To learn how you can manage your Flash cookie settings, visit the Flash player settings page on Adobe’s website. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this Site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.  We use Meta Business Tools to provide tracking and advertising services. Information you provide through your interactions with this Site will be shared using various Meta Business tools.
  • Disclosure of Your Information for Third-Party Advertising. If you do not want us to share your personal information with unaffiliated or non-agent third parties for promotional or advertising purposes, you can opt-out by logging into the Site and adjusting your user preferences in your account profile, checking or unchecking the relevant boxes, or by sending us an email with your request to support@goveer.com.
  • Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your email address/contact information used by Veer Gear to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by logging into the website and adjusting your user preferences in your account profile, checking or unchecking the relevant boxes, or by sending us an email with your request to support@goveer.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt-out does not apply to information provided to Veer Gear as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change your personal information by logging into the website and visiting your account profile page.

You may also send us an email at support@goveer.com to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. We use a number of measures to safeguard your personal information. Veer uses industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. We also have appropriate security measures in place at our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you or where you have chosen a password for access to certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to us. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site.

AI Assistant

When you use the chat feature on our website, you are interacting with an AI-powered assistant (not a live person). We collect and store the messages you send and our responses to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and improve our services and the assistant’s performance. Chat transcripts may be processed by Veer and by third-party AI providers that act on our behalf. Chat transcripts are retained for up to 5 years for quality assurance and service improvement. Please do not provide highly sensitive personal information (for example, Social Security numbers, PINs, or detailed medical information) in chats. If you prefer to speak with a live agent instead, type ‘Agent’ or click ‘Talk to a human’, and you will be transferred; we will notify you when a live agent joins.

Offline Data Collection

The majority of information that we collect is obtained through the Site but we may also collect personal information offline, such as Product Registrations. We protect this information similar to the protection of information disclosed in this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page.
