Cruiser Essentials

Unfortunately we started this journey when my 2 year old son was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We spent about 6 weeks inpatient at MUSC in SC and the pediatric oncology ward had a couple of these veer wagons that had been donated for families to use. We had an opportunity to use one to drive him around the hospital. He was hooked up to quite a bit of gear but with the help of the nurses we could get him set up in this wagon and wheel him all over the hospital and to the little outside area. He absolutely loved it and it made an excellent little mobile play area.

We were sold and ultimately we ordered our own XL version with several accessories.

Having the opportunity to utilize both units the XL is 4 inches wider and advertised to hold 4 kids vice 2. In reality I think it gives 2 kids more room for activities. My now 3 year old and his little 13 month old brother both fit nicely in the wagon and we still often use the car seat adapter to lift up the 13 month old and make a convenient secure perch, but he can also sit on the seat and move around.

There is no child transport system like the Veer. Most wagons and strollers have a flimsy feeling to them and quite honestly forget about getting off concrete or dry walking trails. The veer construction is aluminum with thick composite construction. It also excels at moving across surfaces that honestly no baby transport system should be taken.

I have taken through dirt lots, muddy fields, gravel trails, hills, over rocky…
